"Confidants" is the first single from "Crippled Cute", Damien*'s new album out on Suiteside Oct. '09.
It's a shining indie pop song, with lots of guitars and catchy tunes, one grain of Sergent Pepper, the heart in the '90s and the hands in the new century.
The EP features one dancefool rmx by Not an Exit and one dreamy reworking by Death in Plains.
Damien* are from Pesaro, and have already been noticed by Oxford's Shifty Disco, that selected one song from their previous album "Mart/Art" (Suiteside 2008) for the download single club.

THE REMIXERS
Not an Exit formed in 2008 as a side project of Fitness Pump and Swim. Rawing from influences of electro, hip hop and rock music, N.a.E. released their first, dark & untitled e.p. in 2009 mixing heavy guitars, shoegaze noises and classic four on the floor kickdrums.

Death in Plains was born as the bedroom diy project of Enrico Boccioletti, Damien*s singer and guitarist. His "mistaken pop songs" found their way to the hearts and playlists of bloggers and new music seekers. Invited to play in London at Proud by Thelepathe and then at the ECC stage of Offset Festival, Death in Plains' childhood scenes will soon touch new grounds.
