Andre Lodemann may be a fairly new name to some, perhaps becoming acquainted through his incredible recent releases on Best Works, Room With A View or Simple, but the Berliner has in fact, been honing his skills as a DJ and producer since the reunification of Germany in 1989. As the oppressive censorship of the then ruling communist party began to fade he was able to progress from an old reel to reel tape to his first pair of Technics.
The opening up of the airwaves meant Andre was able to educate himself by listening to West Germanradio stations like RIAS and SFB for hours at a time, immersing himself in new music.
