Sure everyone knows Brendan Benson as collaborating member of the Raconteurs, but up until recently many were not familiar with his solo career. Back in August, he released his fourth solo album My Old, Familiar Friend via ATO to a much larger, more eager audience than his pre-Raconteurs work. A lot of folks discovered that he is (and was for that matter) a great, solid performer on his own as well.
