It's all about the hype - not only has HELL's new single 'The DJ' feat. P. Diddy just topped IDJ's heavy rotation, this release is causing a massive stir in industry at the moment.
"‘The DJ' on which P Diddy (yes, him again) shouts a lot about how "motherfuckers" should play the 13-minute versions of tracks is one of the most ridiculous, brilliant things you will have heard in a long time." - The Guardian
"HELL's latest collaboration with hip-hop superstar P. Diddy has the music world buzzing as it takes to a whole new level. Having hooked up for previous singles 'Let's Get Ill' and 'Check This', new release 'The DJ' offers a freestyle jack-track featuring an additional four remixes - one of which is a massive 28 minutes long. Setting the techno orld straight, the two masters sned a very clear message throughout the track about how "motherfuckers" should be playing 15-20 minute versions of a record.
As P. Diddy states, you "can't even get into your ting with a four minute version" so it seems that he and HELL decided to do something about that and invited some of the very best DJs to remix the track. The response was a collection of diverse remixes by Paul Woolford, Deetron, Jay Haze, Sis and of course the impressive 28 minute remix by Radio Slave. The track was already featured at We Love @Space in Ibiza over the summer, on Radio 1 during Pete Tong's show in New Music We Trust and during guest DJ Laurent Garnier's Essential Mix so it's fair to say it is already pretty big." - tilllate
"A package like this invites a pondering of how essential such a vocal is. Each production here shine in their own right and with differing auras, but it's MC Puffin's rattled babble that pushes them towards mediocrity." - Pulse Radio
"Great! Crazy beats & perfect vox.
In the box and number 3 in the Terrorist playlist. 5/5!" - Afi Khan / BBC Radio
"HELL's spell-binding 'Teufelswerk' album marked a career best for the German enigma and this hook-up with king of bling P. Diddy was the LP's dancefloor standout.
The best value-for-money release of the year." - DJ Mag
Hell ‘The DJ’ is a magnificent single, massive, huge tune. - Chris Coco / Sonica Radio
"I love, including the controversy, ‘The DJ’! Been playing that in the clubs as well as on air." - Dave Davin / SPIN 103.8FM
"Hell's ‘The DJ’ is something special. When Diddy talks about '15 or 20 minute versions', it sounds silly & out-of-place. 4,5/5" - Resident Adviser
"Radio Slave mix is the one doing it for me - been playing extracts of it out (loving the piano bit towards the end in particular). Happy to play on my radio show!" - Andy Stone / Purple Radio
"HELL really is on fire at the moment, I got all his recent stuff and I must say the label cannot go any wrong at the moment, this is probably one of the best periods musically for Gigolo. Congratulations!" - Analog People in a Digital World
"'The DJ' is a solid package that will between the substance in the original and the mindblowing remixes establishes itself as a classic for years to come. It also doesn't hurt to hear a track with Diddy that hits dance music and is actually playable!" - 365Mag
"Stunning. Many thanks again for all this pleasure for my hears and hips!!!" - Laurent Garnier
"Love this." - Tom Findlay / Groove Armada
"Insane!!" - Sasha
"I love the vocal for sure. Hell yeah!" - Donald Glaude
"Cool!" - Digitalism
"Like it!" - Yousef
"5 stars!" - Anderson Noise
"What a trip. Terribly self-indulgent of course but I'm sure I'll have an epiphany listening to it on the iPod on some epic flight to nowhere." - Elite Force
"Full support" - Moguai
"Trippy remix! Will play it..." - Rui Da Silva
"Absolutely first rate. Radio Slave at the top his game." - Ewan Pearson
"Love it, great!" - Ian Pooley
"This tracks is serious mayhem." - Mason
"Been waiting for this, sounds great!!!" - Gregor Tresher
"Wow that's something! i love it :)" - Matthew Dekay
"What a monster. I'm going to be playing this at every opportunity." - Jimpster
"Wow been waiting for these! Love the Radio Slave, Deetron and Jay Haze remixes. Now I gotta work out which one I'm gonna play first!" - Ben Westbeech
"Nice one!" - Axwell
"Yeah man, wicked EP, loving the Deetron remix the most but will use all the mixes." - Trevor Rockcliffe
"Monstrous! great mix from Paul." - Nick Warren
"Bomb!!!" - Timo Mass

"What really is a good style? - If you have one you don't have to think about it."
It's that time of the year - once again, HELL has charted at #39 in Best Dressed Man @GQ's Men of The Year. Having topped the Award in 2003, HELL has never failed to impress the fashionistas with his iconic personna.
"Helmut Geier, chief of the International Deejay Gigolos has always been the complete counter draft to the good-mood-Ibiza-look.
He relies on Martin Margiela and Tom Ford. - My preferences? More and more classical men's fashion."
"DJ Hell is a complete artwork: music, hair-style, glasses, transportation means - every single detail counts."

FREAK IT' BY HELL & CHRISTIAN PROMMER #2 AT BUZZ CHART!
When HELL subsequently worked extensively with jazz-electronica experimentalist Christian Prommer on the album 'Teufelswerk', it all added up to one thing in Buzzin' Fly head honcho Ben Watt's mind - a possible HELL/Prommer collaboration. Could the mainspring behind German techno and electro-clash merge with an electronica-jazz pioneer and create a new deep house sound?
The answer is here - 'Freak It' - a track that operates on the fault-line of all genres; part brutal, part contemplative, a journey of twisted jazz trumpets, distorted voices and pulsating deep techno loops.
On the flip, Spencer Parker distills the essence of the mood and builds a superbly subtle slow-burn sub-bass dub.
The single has just hit #2 in the respected Buzz Chart. Do not miss this pleasant juxtaposition where HELL turns into a deep house monster!

You might recognize this heavenly beauty from the recent Vogue feature, or if you are particularly lucky, have seen her perform live. Eden has been a more than glamorous sidekick to HELL on numerous occasions, and this month HELL finally welcomes EDEN to present Gigolo.
She is a Burlesque artist of iconic proportions and has performed not only on numerous Gigolo Nights in clubs such as Registratur and P1 but also performs individually both here at home in Berlin at famed venues such as the Admiralspalast as well as abroad in the UK and the USA.

Once again, HELL has made a visit to Kiev, Ukraine to act as the chairman of FEMEN, a movement demands introduction of criminal responsibility for people who use services of prostitutes, and declare the problem of sexual tourism in Ukraine at the state level.
Watch FEMEN news on RTL news here
During this visit, HELLl and FEMEN introduced a new program of cooperation and fight against sex tourism and prostitution in the night clubs - 'DJ HELLp', which presentation took place at UNIAN press-centre, and was followed by Techno-Riot action at the Parliament.
In synchro dance performance accompanied by energetic and driving DJ set by HELL, about 200 participants of the cultural-social event tried to find the way to communicate with the Parliament Members with the help of a gesture language transmitting the message “Ukraine is not a Brothel!”
The aim of a one hour open-air party nearby the Ukrainian Parliament by HELL and indefatigable FEMEN girls is to draw the Government’s attention to the issue of sex tourism and prostitution. Since “Ukraine is not a Brothel!” campaign started, the Government has been successfully playing deaf and blind. At the beginning of the action Helmut Geier, aka DJ HELL, and Anna Gutsol, spokeswoman of FEMEN, stated their comments on their cooperation as well as summing up the movement’s work on fight against criminal sex industry.
During the national campaign against sex-tourism “Ukraine is not a Brothel!”, FEMEN decisively stood up for Ukrainian women’s rights and the country and with the help of it’s actions managed to draw a great deal of attention from Ukrainian and European community on the issue of a malicious sex-industry in Ukraine.
FEMEN achieved agreements on cooperation with German Embassy in Ukraine as well as Human Trafficking Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Reports and Investigations on the topic of sex-tourism appear in world authoritative mass-media. As a result of a 6-months work of FEMEN-Patrol program, several thousands of foreigners, Kiev visitors and guests, have received information concerning sex-tourism and it’s threats from FEMEN activists.
After this protest, the law on criminalization of the client has been introduced to the Ukrainian government.
To find out more about this activity, check out FEMEN's myspace.
