Man I tell ya, I've used a couple of Abstrack's remixes and originals into my own mix for my Lets Mix web series of mixtapes and they worked out awesome as hell!


And he's not from Auckland, In fact he's from Dunedin! We need to find more new blood from this region

I hope in the new year we get to hear more from Abstrack

Bio


With musical beginnings since a young age, Matt McNeill, “Abstrack”, went from playing a range of different instruments to eventually becoming a DJ. Starting in early 2007, he has progressed and found his own unique style of mixing, which includes playing a sound which involves genres such as House, Electro, Dutch, Baltimore, Dubstep, and Indie. Matt has been privileged enough to find himself playing to crowds in several clubs around NZ alongside very respectable acts from the wider NZ and around the world!

He also makes up one half of the duo "NZ House Arrest" with longtime friend and DJ, "Matty P" (AKL). He prides himself in mixing technical sets which follow a number of different genres and is always trying to take it that step further. He has started to make his own sound and is definitely one to look out for in the near future.



We cordially invite all that is game to be part of his movement and continue to enjoy this necessity in life from this day forward!
