No doubt Summerdayze will be an enjoyable outing none the less for the avid dance fan in all of us. In fact I forgot to mention that this edition of Summerdayze is aptly named because it’s all happening during the day with the gates opening at 2:00 pm.
Now I do have one more beef to slice with Summerdayze and that is this proposed after party at BE club this Friday. Now let’s think about it for a second, you want to go to an afterparty featuring Daniel Farley and Mark Emerson………okay can you not see the problem here folks? You’re going to an after party with the same guys who are billed on the same event on the same day. Don’t you find it pointless or inane?
I for one never found Daniel Farley’s Djing to be of a cohesive quality, especially when his head is clearly shoved up the asshole of the promotion industry. I mean people do have the gift of multitasking, like doing 2 things at once sort of thing, but come on……..he’s like the milk in the fridge that’s gone off but no one wants to throw it out. And Mark Emerson, so what?! Who are you? If you’re another Dj……..your nothing!
So what I’m basically saying is that a) the heat is going to make all of us exhausted as hell, especially with everyone dancing, and b) if you’re going to an after party then clearly you’re as lame as them and on drugs.
Just shut the fuck and enjoy the day! And the fact that it’s going to be at The Telstra Event Center in Manukau, how many times does that happen? Be happy; drink plenty of fluids and good night!
PS: I hope we don’t have a clusterfuck like last year!
