"It really means a lot to be featured on the Annie Mac Presents tour. Annie was one of the first people to play some of my recent tracks before I even met her, just for the music. I support what she stands for and can't wait to rock these parties!" A-Trak

Can you believe its been a year since the Queen of the Mash Up, Miss Annie Mac, took a bunch of the world's hottest dj's on tour around the UK with a succession of gigs that blew every other national DJ tour out of the water!
Well its back and more raucous than ever before. Kicking off at Moda in Lincoln on Friday 26th September Annie takes on 18 dates with a line up that includes loads of her favourite bands and dj's. There's more live bands than ever on this year's tour that includes the brilliant Black Kids, Ladyhawke, Magistrates, and Frankmusik, plus DJ's that include Simian Mobile Disco, Hot Chip, Erol Alkan, Toddla T, DJ Mehdi, the Edbanger crew, Fake Blood, A-Trak, Crookers, Pendulum, and Kissy Sell Out. These are just some of the mighty names joining her. The tour comes to an explosive end on 20th December at Annie's hometown of Dublin. What a show that one's going to be! Last year this was where Annie found her new love for stage diving, so lord knows what will happen this time! Whatever it is you'll be able to watch all of the action on the new Annie Mac Presents online TV show at www.anniemacpresents.com.
Annie has teamed up with former MTV and CDUK producers Us3 productions for an initial run of 5 very special online TV shows, filmed predominantly at Birmingham, Manchester, London, Liverpool and Newcastle with additional footage from Annie herself on every step of the tour. You'll get to see all the fun of behind the scenes as well as the full boom of the gigs themselves.
"I'm currently priming myself with vitamins and sleep in preparation for the impending three months of madness of the Annie Mac presents tour 2008. I'm delighted with the line-ups. They have as always been hard work in the making and this year is bigger and better than ever with my favourite bands and DJ's side by side at my favourite club nights across the country. It does feel, when looking at the tour that it's a proper cross section of the most exciting dance music around. All of it will be documented and discussed on anniemacpresents.com .... See you there." Annie Mac

Annie Mac is someone who loves what she does with such a passion that it reflects in the way she has risen not only through the ranks at radio one but also in the international club scene as one of the most in demand djs around.
There's only a handful of talented female DJ's out there. There's only a small pool of genuine television presenters who truly believe in what they're presenting. And there are few female radio DJ's who have their audience in the palm of their hands who respect and listen to their guidance through what they play. Annie Mac is all of these and more.
Her flagship radio show is of course THE MASH UP on Friday nights on Radio 1. Taking to the airwaves after the legendary Pete Tong after he kicks off the station's 12 hours of dance music. She has also made her mark on teens with BBC Switch. Annie co-presents the weekly music TV show Sound on BBCTWO on Saturday afternoons and Switch on Radio 1 on Sunday nights with Nick Grimshaw.
This tour is always a highlight in the calendar for not only Annie's fans, but also the DJ's and artists that play. Annie is a very respected figure on the scene, and this is a gig that they all want to play.
'Annie's support of alternative dance music and showcasing fresh new talent has been second to none. The AMP shows (along with her Friday night Radio 1 show) offer a chance to experience the more exciting end of club culture as well as a sneak preview into it's future' Erol Alkan
"Being part of this tour make me feel part of a family. A family that make noise sound funky, a family where electro and hip hop are one. You can call this tour NANNY MAC PRESENTS! We are the kids of Annie, and if you wanna play with my mother, i'll send you my big brothers!" BUSY P (Edbanger)
'i'm grateful to annie for asking me to play on her tour - looking at the lineup it's pretty much a who's who of dance music right now, so its very flattering to be involved!' Zinc
"We're looking forward to catching up with Annie and having a hoot together. The Chibuku crowd is always up for a good time too, we keep meeting in random places, ski resorts, festivals, so it will be nice to make a night out of Liverpool." Bruce, The Whip

"I've been lucky enough to have both DJ-ed and raved on the Annie Mac Presents tour since 2005, the very first year. It's always a riot with some fantastic line ups featuring some of the most exciting and cutting edge DJ's and acts in dance music. For me it's a real opportunity to see and hear some of the new acts that we've been playing on the show and a chance to watch and learn from some of the very best in DJ talent. At each event I've been to there's just a really friendly atmosphere with both DJ's and crowds seeming happy to be there and excited to party. I'm really looking forward to the 2008 tour kicking off and sure that this will be the best yet!" Rachel Barton (Radio 1, Lovebox)
