Our fellow Vector brother in crime, Bat Tao Lo will be having a joint exhibition in Barcelona this weekend which will coincide with Sonar Festival. Bat Tao Lo works will be featured with many others in this exhibition. I'm still wondering about the whole Sushi Girls thing that he will be displaying, hopefully some photos will be available!

The details of the exhibition can be viewed at this website

As well as his up and coming exhibition in Barcelona, Bat Tao Lo has been gracious enough to give us some of his tunes to you, the reader to demo and enjoy because this is a audio blog you know! So enclosing is an email explaining his influences and reasons behind these tracks
Hi Nerdy Frames,
If you're interested in this stuff, my influences are 60's Hippie Music, addNtoX, Electrelane, (Spanish band) Glamour To Kill, Freddy fender (can that guy sing or what? Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up), Brazilian Girls, The Andrews Sisters, My Bloody Valentine (mostly coz the bass player had a thing for my ex and dedicated "Clare" to her at one of their gigs - not exactly true - she did but I liked them anyway) (Come to think of it Buster Bloodvessel dedicated "My Girl Lollipop" to my girlfriend Gill "Gillipop" too. Not sure if was before or after he fucked her but that's neither here nor there) These days, I try to stay away from pop-stars. Well, I keep my wife away from them at least, Neil Young, Kraftwerk, T Rex (I had my hair like Bolan's when I was a tender boy of 18), Throbbing Gristle (coz I lived next door to them), Tom "can do almost nothing wrong" Waits. Actually most of these bands have had a small influence (With the exception of Bad Manners).
Because I'm one of those rich Mac users, I'm also influenced by the incredibly easy to use Garageband, although they have to get some better samples for christs sake - who the hell wants twenty-five Southern Rock Guitar samples?
I don't listen to much new stuff these days and I sure as fuck don't get this "Burial" thing at all. I tried to listen without prejudice but to me it's as dull as dishwater. Not too enamoured by The Raveonettes either. Am I say too much? Bet you really like the Raveonettes and I've completely fucked it.
So here are some tracks for you to enjoy!
